Melvin Champaign was my father. I was the first born. I miss him dearly. Even though we lived on different sides of the world we still stayed in touch. No matter what the day was never over til one of us called to say our love yous and a prayer to lay us down with. He listened to my problems, he always knew when there was something wrong with me!!!!
I love him lots!!!!!

Living out of state has not allowed me to connect with others in Charleston, SC, but your website provides an international touch that gives me the exposure to compassion that we needed.

When Melvin lived in Washington state, he was very much a part of non-profit work. I still meet people in the professional realm affected by him in wonderful ways. He & I met at a birthday party. He was an iron worker building the structure of the Convention Center in downtown Tacoma. He loved his children and he was ready to help people in need. He was so high energy, I couldn't figure out how he could work from 7am - 4pm as an iron worker, wash the dishes before dinner, and then help someone I knew move. But he radiated energy and he was eager to put his best foot forward. Thank you for your site.

Thank you so much for your love and compassion. I am writing on behalf of my son, Reuben Charity, Melvin's youngest son.

We would love to have future bulletins of your events. I just saw this today and am truly blessed. Melvin was a very athletic, lively compassionate person and he would have loved this idea of rememberance for them.

God bless you.
